Hi, how are you?

I’m good, what about you?

Should I wear pink like Barbie on Wednesday?

Great question. Yes. You would rock it, whoever you are. Barbie wears pink with pride, and you should too.

How do I get rich quick?

Ok so… I’m not an expert on this topic. However, I say a pyramid scheme is a great way to make money. Remember, it’s not money laundering if you don’t get caught. And police/FBI, for your information, no, I am not endorsing money laundering. This is a joke.

What to do if I like a boy? How do I know if he likes me back? How can I get him to ♥️ my lonely heart?

You should just shoot your shot and go for it. I don’t know who asked this, but I’m sure you have a great chance. If you keep silent, these questions will keep weighing on you. HOWEVER, if you like a boy, maybe take half a month or so to try and figure out if he really does like you. Because if he does, I’m sure that would give you a happy feeling — or some sort of reassurance. If you are really unsure as to whether he likes you, don’t wait for him to make a move. In fact, don’t wait for him to make a move even if he DOES like you. Men like it when women make the first move, and some are too nervous to ask people out. Anyway, I digress. Just ask him out. If he doesn’t like you, well, you’ve gotten it out of the way and now you have at least some sort of peace of mind. If he does like you and you two start going out, CONGRATS. But remember to mention me when you talk about how you two met… gimme some credit.

I’m a senior and I’m scared to go to college… what should I do?

First off, whoever wrote this has some pretty nice handwriting (these questions were on paper first). Ok, so I saw this in my pile of questions and thought it was probably one of the best questions to answer at this time of year. I’m a senior, too, and frankly, I’m also scared. But I think everyone is scared at this time in their life—it’s natural. After the year is over, you will be making a huge step in your journey and your whole life will really start to pick up. You will be leaving the place you grew up in and the friends you grew up with. You will be leaving the bed that you slept in and the parents that raised you (until you come back, of course). It’s a huge change. There’s a statistic out there that 95% of students like where they go to college. Sure, you’ll miss your friends and your family and possibly your teachers, but I’m sure you will be happy. Even if you don’t get into the college you want to go to, there is a 95% chance you will enjoy the college you do end up attending. And that’s the reason that we tour schools and research them, right? So that we enjoy the college experience. I sympathize with you. I’ve had a fear since last year of “what will happen if I don’t get into my dream school?” I stress a lot, and it’s really not doing me any good. It’s hard for me to come to terms with the fact that I might not get in and what that will really mean for me. But listen, it’s natural to be scared. Some might even say that it’s NECESSARY to be scared. But don’t let that control you. This huge step will change your life for the better, and just know that you will meet people you like and you’re not alone.
