On December 19, 2024, Hastings High School’s talented musical groups will showcase pieces they’ve been perfecting all school year at the annual HHS winter concert.
The concert will feature performances by over 100 Hastings students who are members of the HHS band, orchestra, chorus, Madrigals (a selective choir ensemble), Sinfonia, and jazz band, offering a variety of musical styles and sounds. As Band teacher Eric Day says, “I’m really excited for this year’s winter concert. It’s a particularly eclectic program, you’ll hear Brahms from the orchestra, you’ll hear modern band music, 70s funk from the jazz band and much more!”
The winter concert is one of only two annual concerts for all highschool groups that is held by the Hastings Music Department. With so much hard work and effort put into the pieces by the artists, it’s a great opportunity to come together as a community to support the Hastings Music Department.
