As students of HHS, we know how impressive the Theatre Program is. This spring, don’t miss the chance to see Mamma Mia! — a vibrant, lively musical that’ll have you singing and dancing along! Come to Hastings High School Theater on April 3-4 at 7 pm, and April 5 at 1 pm. Mamma Mia! is a fun story about a young girl who gets pulled into a confusing yet delightful adventure as she hunts down her real father. The Buzzer interviewed HHS students involved in the production to learn more.
Q: What is the most exciting element of the show?
A: “I think it’s different for everyone, I’m really excited about the dancing!” (Anonymous, cast member)

Q: What’s it like to work alongside your classmates?
A: “I find it really fun. As someone who usually does sports, it’s so nice. It’s not toxic at all, and everyones really supportive.” (Addie Lew, cast member)
A: “It’s a great time. The shows are an amazing example of how students of all ages can come together to create an amazing experience. It is something special to work with so many talented people and get to be a part of a show with them.” (Anonymous, crew member)
Q: What would you say to inspire people to come see this performance?
A: “The director Laurie is taking a different approach to Mamma Mia… It’s not like something you’ve seen before” (Ben Levan, cast member)
